Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy de Domme. Since a young age, both her dental doctors parents and teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theater and drama. It was this love which trumped her original desire to become a primatologist. It was a quick rise in her career to become a well-known young actress. Before she began to pursue her acting career, Tautou took part in Jeunes Premiers an French talent search TV program that was sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of The award for the Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Though she was a student at in the Institut Catholique de Paris and was a member of the church during her childhood, Tautou has stayed away from this upbringing, stating that she is not officially Catholic. As well as her acting profession she started a modelling career. It is her turn to be the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen passion for photography. She recently presented an exhibit of her work at the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. The work she produces is focused on fame and fame. Also, it features a series self-portraits and a special focus on journalists who have been watching Tautou's career since her dramatic rise in stardom after Amelie. Audrey Tautou's debut part, playing Amelie Poulain's lead actor in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie, landed the actress international fame. Amelie was a box-office international film that received acclaim at awards galas around the world. Amelie was the highest-rated film that is French-speak in the US. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in numerous movies ranging from British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
